How often should I have my Calgary home professionally cleaned?
Most Calgary homeowners choose biweekly (every two weeks) — it keeps the home consistently clean without the cost of weekly service. Homes with pets, children, or high foot traffic often benefit from weekly cleaning. Monthly is a good option for smaller homes or clients who maintain cleaning between visits.
What's the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean?
A regular residential clean covers all rooms, surfaces, floors, bathrooms, and kitchen — following our documented top-to-bottom method. A deep clean goes further: inside appliances (oven, fridge, microwave), inside cabinets, grout scrubbing, calcium buildup removal with our hard water protocol, and areas behind and under furniture. We recommend a deep clean as a first visit, then regular maintenance after that.
Do I need to be home when the cleaner arrives?
No. Most of our clients in Signal Hill, Aspen Woods, and Coach Hill provide a key or entry code and go about their day. All SonderCleaning contractors are bonded, insured, and background checked. You'll receive confirmation when the clean is complete.
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?
You choose whether you supply the vacuum, mop, and products, or we bring everything. The documented method and quality standard are identical. Choose your supplies option and see your exact price when you book. Final rate depends on service type.
How do you handle Calgary's hard water in bathrooms?
Calgary tap water contains 200–250 mg/L of calcium and magnesium — among the highest in western Canada. Every SonderCleaning cleaner is trained to use acid-based products applied directly to calcium deposits on shower glass, faucets, and chrome. We never use these products on natural stone like marble or granite. This specific hard water protocol is standard on every residential clean — not an add-on.
